Sandra Simmonds gave a packed audience an insight into her life in Iran as a foreigner married into a conservative Iranian family. Her recollections and descriptions of daily life particularly that of the women gave an insight to life behind the veil which at times was quite harrowing , especially her escape from the country as the revolution took hold. She has promised to return to tell us more about the daily life as an Iranian housewife.
