The various actvity groups have been encouraged to use the Zoom facility to maintain contact until they are able to resume face to face events. Members of the craft group have been busy sewing to contribute to the local “Love of Scrubs” charity initiative.
The gardening group have a very actve WhatsApp contact group and have been swapping plants and seeds throughout the lockdown. The walking group have maintained contact through virtual coffee mornings and hope to resume appropriately social distanced walks in due course. The skittles group will be holding a virtual pub night on their scheduled meetng night in June.
Instead of our monthly meeting in April we held a quiz on Zoom attended by 22 of our members. A great hour spent keeping in touch and having a laugh. The Winner was Mary Stallwood after a tie break with Ann Obee and Margitta Green won the observation quiz. Both will receive some flowers from my garden whenever they grow.

Zoom has increased its security and is now on version 5 and anything else will not work from 1st June. It will prompt you to upgrade before you can enter. You just need to download the upgrade via google store or apple store. Zoom website would also have a link.
